Hi, im confused about a couple of post i have read regarding the need for a change on ALL pivots on frame 2. I have not done that previously, and i have had some 'shaking expiriences' -Also , animations made does not alway come out that way -a kind of wysiNwyg.. I have tried to search for the topic on the faq, but gets a somewhat cryptic message about a server having probelms.. my gues -expired /changed links..? So.. Would someone explain the need for a few dg change on all pivots before the actual animation is build? tyia ab

As I understand it SL takes Frame 1 as the reference pose and will check all joints in Frame 2 against Frame 1. If there is no movement in a joint between frame 1 and 2, SL ignores it within the new animation you are makng. This means that whatever default SL animation applicable will play for those joints that are ignored. Eg, if you have no rotation difference between frames 1 and 2 on the hand, arms and shoulders, then the default typing animation will show if you type whilst your new animation is playing.
Sometimes you only want to animate some joints and keep the normal SL animations playing for others, so this feature is actually very useful.
