Can somebody give me a jumpstart on animations that involve two people, but are initiated by one of them? Something like walking while holding hands would be a good start and I can take it from there. Does it involve something extra other than just an animation like scripts or whatnot? Im lost and havent found anything on the forums. FYI I have Qavimater and Poser 7. Thanks in advance.

If you don't even know whether or not you need special scripts for this (btw, the answer is yes) then walking while holding hands is definitely out of your reach. That's not a start, that's actually one of the hardest two-person animations you can do.
Really, if you are wondering if a script is needed then it's probably too much for you to do two-person animations at all. Start with individual poses using poseballs, and once you have that figured out you can get more ambitious. _____________________

I actually have a decent background in basic scripting, programming, SQL, Poser, etc. Im just new to implementing these things into SL. So my understanding is not out of reach.

Well okay, so you want to read this then:
http://rpgstats.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page That's where you can learn about how to code LSL. Meanwhile, for examples of stuff in action, go to the various freebie areas in-world and start collecting anything that involves animation in any way. Start picking them apart to learn how they work. Good luck! _____________________
