Hi Hi back!

Indeed there is...the open source program avimator comes in a OSX flavor...not as nice as poser, with a few non-Mac UI rough edges, but free. You can find it at http://www.avimator.com/

ooh! yet more further currently updated news...

contentparadise.com, who were offering Poser 5 for free before the offer expired, now offer it for $19.95.

And as you are a Mac user, I think you'll like it much better.

Animated kisses,

*And* you get a $10 coupon good for content purchases. Note sure if it will help, but maybe they sell animations?

Avvimator has been replaced by QAvimator which now has several major advances over the original

# Ported to QT
# Save as AVM and Export as BVH
# Character definitions split from source code (for significantly shorter compile time)
# Ability to add props - fixed objects in the scene to act as reference points.
# Attach props to AV - so you can create animations involving held / worn objects.
# Timeline with moveable key frames for all limbs (inc copy & paste).
# Some support for multiple AV's at the same time.
# Linux, Windows and MacOS X ports.
