hello everyone
i have 2 small questions i need help with when making animations with qavimator. i've been doing a few poses and sometimes once i upload the pose, the torso will move or the head when i move my house, even when i set the priority to 4 and put the in% at 100 so that it only plays my last frame. so i was wondering if there was any way to lock the body in place that the torso and/or head doesnt move when i move my mouse?
another problem i have is with some animations when i type the arms of my avie doesnt come back to their original position, they become all crooked or one arm will be higher then the other when they are supose to be the same height. i was wondering i could i fix that?

Maybe you don't have keys for those parts set on frame two different enough from frame one? SL only knows what to animated by the difference of first frame to second. It sounds like perhaps the same issue with the arms, some joints have keys set but not all? hth!

mmmh that could be it, i know that when i dont move a part i just leave it as is. so i would have to set a key frame even if i dont move a part? okie i'll try that and see if it works. thank you very much ^^

yvw! From: Tiana Meriman i know that when i dont move a part i just leave it as is. so i would have to set a key frame even if i dont move a part? Yes? Sort of? Especially if you don't want a part to move! Maybe read the FAQ stickied at the top of the forum? It's more than that... If you don't make a key, SL knows you don't want that part animated, so other animations show. If you make a key without moving the part to a different position than frame one, SL will optimize it out, so same result for a different reason. But if you make a key on frame two that's moved from the first frame, then that will show, when played after animations of same or lower priority.

create anew animation go to second frame and move every thing 1 point usually i just selecet the top box and change the value to 1
save this file as beginning then from now on when you make a animation start with this file just remeber to no overwrite the file use save as and change the name
and start you animation in frame 3
that way when you upload and set your priority you control the whole AV
