Hi for some reason sl can not find any of my bvh files. It did teh first time I used it. Any suggestions?

Do your files have proper extensions, .bvh?

Are you sure you're using File->Upload Animation? If you hit Upload Sound or Upload Image by mistake, BVH files might be filtered out of your view.
