I know of the method of raising the hip bone in a bvh file. I used that but you can only raise the hip bone so high. The hip method is okay for a smaller robot, but I want to create a huge, skyscraper height, Megazord sized, gigantic robot. It seems I cant raise the hip bone enough to make an avatar of that size though.
Is there any other method I could use to make a robot of this size?

Problem with making it a vehicle is that I still want to legs of my robot to walk. I dont know how to script so I cant really do that on my own.

Vehicles

There is a no physical vehicle script in the script library here (I think it's called WalkAnimation or something. Sorry I can't look it up. I'm about 1 minute from knocking off from work!) that basically behaves as an attachment, but is actually a vehicle. This SHOULD work for what you're looking for.
Another project I'm working on and offer to others out there as... not a challenge, but something to think about is the idea of puppetry for these giant avs. I've found that just attaching something to the hip or shoulder doesn't work - we all have! *grin*-, but there HAS to be a way to attach giant things, say a hand, to the AVs hand via a "Stick" (I.E. An invisible cylender or box, stretched out) then adjust the actual animation to control, much like you would a puppet. It's tweaky as hell, trust me. I've been trying for a couple of weeks and have only got one to work successfully. Of course it was the very first one I tried. Fluke city! But it should work.
I'll keep at it and let you know if I come up with something, if you want.
