I've been using the DNA A/O, and am switching to Ziggy's. Neither solve an ongoing problem for me which is when I want to play specific animations (i.e. sit on the ground, but because it's a false ground, I can't let the normal A/O do it's thing, I need to play the specific animation. Is there a HUD that will let me load specific animations to play at various times?

I sell a HUD that does just that, but it's more meant for photographers and models.
Basically, you load it with animations (or static poses in the case of photographers), and it allows you to browse through them, play them, stop them, etc. It can also animate other avatars around you, but only one avatar at a time, so it's not a general purpose hugger by any means. It's probably an overkill for you what you want to do. But there's no harm in trying it out I guess.
