"Animation Override" in Belly

My fiance today discovered she had some kind of remote control in her belly! Whatever it was it was transparent and she only found it because it flashed. She turned on the Highlight Transparent feature in the View drop down and then she could select Edit. She pulled it out as far as she could (about half way out of her stomach). On the side it said "Animation Override". She tried to get the info on who made it, but it wouldn't let her.

Eventually she found she could just select Detach and now it's gone. Anyone know what this might be? Kinda creepy.

Animation override is a script that lets you replace default walk, stand, sit, etc..with animation of your choice..

I "dress" my avie by dragging a folder of the clothes onto my avie body, so that removed everything I have on and replaces it with whatever is in the folder...so I never have these thing hidden on me, as I changed atleast twice a day so like taking a bath and being cleaned over and over.. lol

She's very lucky that she got it while it was still in the Embryo stage, any longer could have been serious. I would suggest she visits the nearest SL Clinic for a full check-up.

Also, I don't want to delve into your personal life, but if your Fiance was infected by this, you need to ask her some careful questions about where she has been and with whom? It might be a good idea if you visit the clinic also, as a precaution. Also a relationship counceling can help somtimes if she is feeling 'dissatisfied' at home.



OK, Joking aside
The Animation Override is simply that, when worn it will replace the stock animations for Walk, Run etc.. with others you may have bought. I have one and wear it on my fore-head (it's invisible). The AO is usually free, but the actual Animations you put inside cost money.

Do the Highlight Transparent and drag it onto the floor, then Edit>Contents, should be a notecard inside explaining everything.


Now you need to sitdown with your Fiance and ask her if there's anything she feels she needs to tell you. And don't be too harsh on her, SL is a wild place and many a young woman has been led astray by much older Avies.

All joking aside, that Animation Override may have been a designed part of the Avatar that she was wearing. For example, I have one 'chibi-fox' avatar that has an AO that allows me to use a cute 'run on all fours' animation instead of the standard running animation.

Check with the vendor of the Avatar. It might have been normal for that to be there.
