If so, where?
This very useful program gives me nothing when I choose either the Contents or Index selections under the Help menu. I have looked all over, including the Qavimator forum itself, but my last hope is that somebody on the SL Animation Tips Forum knows where I can get basic documentation on how the program works.

From: Isablan Neva This isn't perfect ... Thanks Isablan. That seems to be more or less what I need.

Dang it!

The right thigh and shin of my figure are highlighted in pale purple now and the entire limb drags when I attempt to edit a part. I can see how this can be very useful but I neither need nor want to use the feature in my current project. The trouble is I can't undo this linking of the two parts since I don't know how I achieved the link in the first place.
Can someone please explain how I can unlink the parts?

Pale purple means you activated the Inverse Kinematics (IK)... you can move the rest of the figure and the highlighted part should be stable.. (in theory.. it does not work perfect). You activated it by double-click on the leg. De-activate again by double-click. This will set key-frames of the leg. If you did it by accident, better de-activate in the same frame to avoid unwanted effects. QAvimator can't undo, you better save often.

From: Doris Haller Pale purple means you activated the Inverse Kinematics (IK)... Heaven's ta Betsy!? I thought Qavimator didn't have inverse kinetics? I guess that will be real handy when I get the hang of things. From: Doris Haller QAvimator can't undo, you better save often. Yep, I figured that one out soon enough. Thanks Doris. It's a real shame there isn't a decent manual for this program. Like I said above, I'm finding Qavimator really useful but it ain't so much a steep learning curve as a long trip out to the suburbs and then back over the river to get downtown.

From: Ephraim Kappler I thought Qavimator didn't have inverse kinetics .. and right you were IK is not working reliable. Its even written somewhere on the hp. The current implementation is an example of a 'come to bee' feature.. -Only , it never 'came' :), but the alpha-version is there.. sometimes this is called 'glitches' -not really a bug, but just a litle something that never should have been in the release-build.
