Animation Problems

hello,

I have created serveral animations in Qaavimator and they work great in the program. I give them the highest priority (4) when uploading them to SL.

The problem I have is if I try to put them in a pose ball which I have several different scripts for , regardless of the script ,the same issues happen....

The animation may work well but sometimes the animation will maintain a standing stance, meaning the legs stay straight. Other times the body just bends backwards as if the pose ball is some giant tumor in the torso. The animation problem will happen with other avatars as well, so it is not specific to me.

Thanks everyone..

Is it only when used in a pose ball or does the happen when just playing the animation file from the inventory?

Are all body parts moved in frame 2 at least 1 degree for each rotation?

Do you turn your AO off before sitting on the pose ball?

The same problem exists with playing them from inventory and a pose ball. Let me understand the keyframe issue of frame #2...

If I start in frame 1 which is a default keyframe in Avimator and create a sitting and reclining position where the whole body is reclined with legs bent as if you were doing a sit up exercise and DO NOT change that position by frame 2 of each body part, the legs will default to stay standing even if highest priority? Even if I key frame 2 as well? I am also looping these animations so I start and end with the same positions.

Oddly a bug I see is that if you are editing the pose ball to get the position corrected by editing the pose ball then clicking on it to animate the avatar the animation works correct with legs bent.

Once you go out of edit mode.... the legs stay straight.

Thanks for your help. I suspect it is something I'm doing with Avinimator.

Frame 1 needs to be the default T stance - do not touch this frame. Start your animation in frame 2 with moving each body part at least 1 degree for all rotation values.

Frame 1 is the reference that SL uses to base the % of movement in all the other frames. When you upload, the animation actually starts on frame 2.
