Need help

And for some reason when I attach the object it shows up as a box on me. I must be doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This means that the item that you purchased is boxed. You will need to go to a place where you can rez the box on the land and right click and open it. This will copy the items into your inventory so that you can then wear/use them.

You can type sandbox in your search to find a place to rez - or another trick you can do sometimes is wear the box and right click edit the box and go to the contents tab and slide the contents of the box into your inventory too. Helps to create a folder first for them to go into.
