All clothes off

Hi Everybody,

Pretty new to all this. So some advice would be great on anything. However, am having 1 major problem. When I try and take all my clothes off, the command seems to work, but my bra and knickers do not come off, and the bottom half of my skirt stays on. I am now stuck like this, and cannot put clothes on, or get those clothes off. Any thoughts?

(not sure what this has to do with animation, but hey, no point in posting twice, no moderators to move the thing.)

First, get the Advanced menu to show with Ctrl-Alt-D.

Once you have that, try Advanced->Character->Character tests->Toggle PG. This particular menu doesn't tell you if it's activated or not, so remember that you played with this =) See if you're now allowed to take those clothes off. (This is a setting really intended for the teen grid where underwear is mandatory, but sometimes it gets stuck on.)

If that doesn't let you take your underthingies off, try Advanced->Charactcter->Rebake Textures. This forces the system to re-draw what you are really wearing, sometimes this gets out of sync with reality that that will fix it.

If there is still no joy, go to Edit->Preferences, then the Network tab, press Clear Cache, and quit and restart SL.

Almost forgot: A few skins out there have underwear painted on. If this is a new skin and you haven't tried this before, maybe you just neeed a different one.

There's a chance that the skin you have has the underwear "built in". (^_^)

And not being able to put stuff on? Heh, I use that excuse all the time. (^_^)y... (o.o) ... Oh... But really, maybe your seeing a connection or packet loss issue. And there's a chance that the asset server is in a bad mood again. (=_=)y

Also try going to an empty water sim like SIF or someplace.
