Am I the only one who has noticed that the body model has been modified in the buttocks area. On severe leg bends the leg joint to the hip used to form a distortion that can be described as a wing. This has been eliminated but in doing so created two other severe distortions. Now the waist folds on torso movements in a very unrealistic form and the leg poly attachment to the butt instead of being moderately smooth also create a severe fold. We now have a paper doll instead of a continuous linked set of polygons. This has turned all of my older animations into rather strange looking deformations. Typical they fix one and break 2. I can only hope who ever is playing with this model continues to fix the structure. What would really be nice is something a stage beyond the really old Poser 2 body model we have to use. It was poor in its hey day and now is even more dated.

Could anyone confirm or refute this? I am going to check this myself later, but I'm rather curious.

Any chance of that being a result of a change in the Avatar Mesh Detail of your viewer's preferences?
![]() Maybe verify your preference settings? Of course, we want to remember that everyone sees SL differently depending how their viewers show it, so animate accordingly! ![]() _____________________

There is definitely something different in the avatar's mesh. I know not many people look at their butt with their legs pulled wide and raised but it looks like there are giant grooves cut into the legs now. I'm sure this isn't how the avatar's appeared before.

I've noticed that deformation before .. the 'grooves' in the upper inside legs ... months and months ago, so I don't think it's new
