Greetings,

perhaps you might clarify if a given problem happens just to me or wether it is a more generalized one...

Just today I tried and compiled the QAvimator sources for myself (Linux AMD64) and began designing an amimation... only to have the resulting BVH file rejected by SecondLife's upload with the error message "Unable to load animation - can't find position data".

Notably, old BVH files work just fine, and trying to load an old BVH file and save it back again seems to corrupt it in the eyes of the SL client.

Having a closer look at the files in question I found that there are notable differences in the general skeleton structure as it is put in the first part of the BVH file - the functioning files do contain a "neckDummy" and a "figureHair" node, the corrupted files do not, amongst other, less obvious differences.

Is there something crucial I missed or is the current version of QAvimator indeed broken for use with SL?
