Hi, am editing an animation in Poser, but it is a high frame count. I don't want my ani to cause lag, so am wondering if a high frame count would cause probs and what would be recommended for max frame count. Thanks.

Animation upload is limited in time, not frames. You are limited to 30 seconds maximum. So the maximum number of frames depends on the speed of the animation in frames per second (fps). Poser defaults to 30 fps - so if you are animating at that speed then the maximum number of frames you can upload to SL will be 900. If you animate at 12 fps, then you can upload a maximum of 360 frames.
I don't think the animation length is material to "lag" by itself - it is the overall combination of the environment with its textures and the number of avatars and the scripts running in the sim - and many other factors.

Thanks for the info. I noticed also that any upload is limited to 60 KB, so even though my animations were less than 30 sec, the file size was too big. Thanks again for the response!
