I posted this first in the main forum, just because I thought it'd be more visible there, but someone suggested that it'd actually be better here (I know, I'm sorry!) so I'm posting it again.

I'm trying to set up my copy of the new ZHAO II overrider, and I keep getting an error message. I really hope somebody can tell me how to correct it, because I'm about to go nuts.

I've read the instruction notecard several times, and entered the names of the animations exactly in the new AO set notecard that I'm creating. I'm trying to write the AO set note from scratch, using the default template provided. I've checked to make sure the anim names are correct, and that the ZHAO object isn't out of memory; it's showing 10% available.

When I attach the loaded ZHAO II and click the menu button to load the new AO set, I keep getting an error message that says 'Invalid data in notecard on line 26: [Standing]*Luth* Confident Stand 4|LB Stand 18|Reverie-Female Stand 8. Please correct the notecard and try again.'

Those are the exact names of the poses, so I can't figure out what it thinks is wrong. I have a bunch of stands, but I have them entered on several lines, in the way the instructions specified. Can anyone advise? Thanks a bunch!!

You're at least the 2nd person who made this same mistake today, so don't feel bad :) I'll be updating the documentation as I go, so please post here and let me know what's not clear.

Anyway: replace "[Standing]" with "[ Standing ]" (note the spaces inside the square braces).

I'll probably add that to the help instructions, and see if I can print a more helpful error message. Thing is, it's easy for a human to look at the line and notice what's wrong, it's not so easy for the script :)

Edit: One more thing - if it can't find an animation, it'll say "Cannot find animation XXX in inventory". So if you get the invalid line error, that's not an animation name problem, that means it couldn't recognize the token at the start of the line. Hmm, OK, there's my more helpful error message right there, I could make it say something about an unrecognized token.

OMG, thanks so much! I'm so relieved it was that simple. I love my old ZHAO, I can't wait to *finally* try the new one! :D
