Im making a robot avatar but when it walks it looks silly cause its this big robot walking like a normal person so I want to know how to make my own. First off I have no idea what im doing or where to start and second the thing I want to make is when my av walks/sits/stands still to do it like a robot ie. Whens standing still it dosent move at all no movment, when walking only the legs/arms should move the torso just floats along the ground probably bobbing up and down with the legs. Any help is really appreciated.

Hello Keno,
First, you need each animations such as walks/sits/stands still to do it like a robot. Now that I don't know you've already have a Poser, I leave the details out. You might get them by asking at Products Wanted forum. Second, you need an animation overrider, aka AO. You can get it at the Yadni's Junkyard. Search the whole forum by "overider", you'll be able to get more informaiton.

You can use Poser 4, 5, or 6 for SL if you use Windows. I heard there were no difference among them. But from a point of view of the company's support, which cannot be reasonable expected though , I recommend Poser 6. Talking about searching, this site's search engine doesn't allow less than four letters. You won't be able to search "AO" but "overrider" or something.
