I have browsed alot of topics, including the sticky ones. From what I found there are broken links and old information that should have been updated.

I need some up to date info on how to make animations for SL using Poser 7. The model in poser 7 isn't the same in SL and I doubt a animation made with that model will work well with SL.

I also need to learn my way around poser and how to use.

I also need to learn how to adjust the graphic settings because for some reason Poser 7 is laggy and slow for me.

Yet I know I have 2.5 gigs of ram and a 512 PCI express x16 video card. So I know it can't be my system and has to be something with Poser 7 settings.

I know.. I ask for alot.. sorry.

You need to import the SL avatars which can be found from the Downloads pages on the SL website. You could also work with the Poser 2 figure, as that has the same skeleton.

Poser takes a long time to learn and it does much more than is needed just for animating solely for SL. This makes it more complicated and confusing - and it's not possible to give any sort of "quick start" advice. The vendor's website has some tutorials - I don't know of any others, but maybe someone else here does. If you have specific questions, then post them here and someone will try and help.

There is no way that I know of to adjust the graphic settings within the Poser application - you will need to use the functions provided for the graphics card and operating system of your PC. I can only suggest you make sure you have the latest graphics drivers for your kit.
