Hello @ all Wow after nearly 1 Year in SL now I have to start somehow to make my first Animation. Its a easy one to animate a Microphone, mean a Hold Position and the Body move a little bit from left / center right / center.
For my first steps I try it out with the Free Amimator 0.4.1 be course the have a nice written Beginner Guide too... and my English is not so good.
After play a little bit around I try to make the Animation.. and to make it look nice I use 180 Frames = 6 Sec.
Start with Frame 2 as Keyframe step buy step I move up to Frame 180 I save the work (steps) at Frame 2 / 15 / 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 / 120 / 135 / 150 / 165 / 180.. move back to Frame 2.. save again back to Frame 180 and paste frame.
I play the Animation then.. and its look great.. playing 6 sec.
Now my Problem................ When I upload the Animation the into SL... it play all the steps from 6 sec playtime in just 1 Sec. When I upload it... I saw it say 1 sec on the top.. but for my first Animation.. I could not explane why this is showing.
Question.. how I import a 6 sec playtime Animation into SL.. and still have 6 sec.. or did I maybe something wrong in the saving file on my Com..
If you can find easy word's for me.. to explane it.. would be great
thank you Bunchoo

Can you set the fps on your animation program? It sounds like your fps is set too high. Are you saving it to a .bvh file? You can try loading your bvh into another program like qavimator and change the fps from there... or try adjusting the fps in your programs... or you can try editing the bvh file like a text file. There is a section in the bvh that says Frame Time.

Hm.. a lot of question .. like I say I just download the progarm this morning.. and have never made a Animation before.
Well.. it no say there is a limed of Frames I can use.. 30 Frames are Auto set for 1 sec. Animation, so If I like to have a 6 sec. Animation I have to use 180 Frames.
Inside my Com, as preview the Animation is running 6 sec as well.. only the upload don't work.. SL compress my 6 sec into a 1 sec Animation.
Yes I save it at bvh file... only thing I can tell right now. If there is a other file who I have to set the time Frame again.. I can't tell.
I will try around a little bit.. maybe I make a misstake when I save the Files..
If anyone use this Freeweare Program "Avimator" from the SL Site... maybe he know whot went wrong.
I let you know how I make progress
Thank you Bunchoo

I don't know this program, but it sounds like the default on it is set for too many frames per one second?

YES!.. I got it... haha Sorry.. thats when English is not your first Lang. I made a sooooo simple error. The Program use 30 Frames per sec. playtime You don't have to work with all this 30 Frames.. say if you like to have 2 little movements inside this sec. you just work with Frame 15 & 30. The Program do the rest.. so that it looks smothly... very nice.
If (like me) you need a 6 sec. Animation you have to change the defauld vom 30 to 180 Frames...
Well and there is a second window in this program who you can change the Frames per sec. (fps)
In defauld mode both are set to 30.. well and shame on my I change both to 180.. lol
180 to get a 6 sec Animation.. but sure the 2end one have to stay on 30... to have then 30 frames per sec.
Now it work.. and when I load it up.. the Animation run over 6 sec now.
Simple error /me smiles
Thank you @ all for try to help
