Hello everybody. I'm trying to make an avatar size more tall and huge than normal limited avatar size. How can I make this? In Poser 7, I'm scaling the avatar but in SL, it is not working.. I know deforming but it is hard to do it with guessing the X,Y,Z parameters of body parts..
Is there a tool like Poser to do this or something useful?

The only way to increase the height of an avatar is via the 'Appearance' dialog. As far as I know, there is nothing whatsoever that you can do about the mesh using external applications such as Poser. Avatar height may be augmented with prim attachments if you have stretched the 'Appearance' sliders to the limit.

There are many giant avatars.. So how can they be like that? There are also some scripts which makes avatars size increase.

It is possible to deform the avatar to make really long limbs. Look at this link: /52/7e/333435/1.htmlbut I know of no tool that will make it easy for you since it is basically a hack.

you can also offset attachments and hide the av, but this can be a delicate balancing act...

Hmm thanks.. I did most of deformation by changing that x,y,z. But now, half of my avatar stays under the ground. I'm also deforming hips but I couldn't make it go up. How can I do this?

If the legs are deformed to be longer, then you need to make or get custom animations to get the hip at the right height for the newly lengthened legs. Making the legs longer will not increase your height. If the legs are normal length and not deformed, you may need to unattach the deformer, change your shape (not the entire avatar) then reattach the deformer. I have several taller avatars the I use deforms for only from the waist up and don't deform the legs. Even so, I still sometimes need to reset.

*edit* The hips you cant deform, if I recall correctly, but you can deform the thighs. If you wanted the hips wider, then deform the thighs outward. Deform only stretch you avatar parts, but wont make you avatar thicker in proportion to the height.

Yes I stretched the parts of my avatar. Every limb is tall. But the point is, now, half of my avatar is under the ground and i'm walking like that.
I tried to increase the Y-axis of the 'hip' by this kind of animation(so the avatar will be on more upper): Frames: 2 Frame Time: 0.033333 0.000000 43.729870 0.000000............. 0.000000 93.000000 0.000000.............
But is not working.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your time..

You need custom animations for the avatar so that the hip height is higher than normal. It's not the long legs that make you stand or walk taller, its the animations and poses. If you use an animation program, you will need to raise the hip higher and make your own custom animations (or have someone make them for you) for everything. For ANY avatar that has longer legs, regular animations will not work since their hip heigh is set to normal sized avatars. Animations use the hip height (whether a short or tall avatar) to make the avatar walk and move correctly. They are working as they should when you are 'walking' in the ground.

IIRC you can get away with a single looping priority 4 animation that offsets ONLY your hip height, in the same manner as the deformation... at least for walking
