hi, i tried to make a crawling animation and when i uploaded it, my avatar was still standing upright, and in the animation i had his head looking upward so he could see where he was going, but his head stayed stationary, so basically i rotated, the pelvis, neck, and head but they were not rotated in-world. can anyone help?

I'm actually having this very same problem, and can't seem to figure out exactly what's wrong.

Hopefully someone might know. :P

There are two likely problems that occur to me right away. One, make sure the animation is uploaded at a high enough priority. If it is too low priority then the default animations will still show.

Two, make sure the first frame is the default T-pose. SL uses the difference between that and the start of the animation (ie. the second frame) to determine what limbs to move.

but, if you loop it, doesn't it go back to the T position and start over? that looks silly for a laying animation.

Nope, the first frame gets discarded during the upload process - it's only used to determine the baseline for everything that follows, then gets tossed out.

Also, make sure that EVERY joint is moved at least by 1 in a random direction in frame 2. Any joint in frame 2 that's not different from frame 1 (the discarded T pose) will be ignored by SL

And third, how did you rotate from upright to horizontal? If you used the body rotate then you will see things the way you want them in Poser but when uploaded you will not see the change in body rotation in SL. To rotate the body for SL you must rotate the hip.
