How do I incorporate all the poses and sounds I have into gestures? I have tried it on my own using the "new gesture" option and playing with the box thing that comes up, but when I have all the things I want in there and test it...all the thing says is "hello avatar". I swear I am a dumb butt or something.

Also, I have these poses....how do I use them on a normal basis without having to go into my inventory, opening it and playing it in world?

I have only been playing for a little over a month and I am TRYING to learn things on my own, but it is proving ineffective.

Thanks all....

Lilly,

Unfortunately, gestures currently have an extremely frustrating limitation that renders them pretty useless. You cannot put no copy or no transfer animations into a gesture, and 99% of the animations/poses out there are no copy or no transfer. I have made some gestures for customers upon request, but until they fix that problem with gestures, they aren't very useful. You aren't doing anything wrong.

Here is a link to a knowledge base article about animations and gestures:

Lillyana, you aren't "a dumb butt or something". If a user can't figure out an interface, it's the interface designer's problem not the user.

Anyway, I struggled with changing the text in a gesture for a while too. After changing the text, you have to press the Enter key. That may be the problem.
