Synching Animation with Other Avatars

I learned there is a way for avatars to sync the animation of other avatars. How do I do that?

Like say, if someone was using a swimming or a certain dance animation (not SLwim), would I be able to do something to mimic the other avatar's animation?

I learned that you could click someone's head and you end up mimicking the other user's animation. I tried that, but to no avail. Maybe that other person was wearing prim hair or something.

Also, how would I stop my mimicked animation?

If it worked, they were most likely wearing a Chimera. That is a dancing device similar to a dance ball in a club, only set to be invisible. You can see it if you turn on Highlight Transparent Objects by pressing Ctrl-Alt-R. Transparent objects will turn red on your screen. Press it again to turn it off.

If you start dancing on someone's Chimera, you can type /99stop in your chat window to stop daincing.

Can the Chimera work if someone wanted to sync with my swimming animation I would artificially activate?

And do I have to acquire the Chimera as an object?

Most of the chimeras that I have seen use the free solop dance machine script:

There should be no reason why you couldn't use it for swim or other animations.
