Amanda,

If you are still having trouble, make sure you use one of the Poser 2 hi res figures - you cannot use the Poser 4/5 figures. You can access the figures in the library by using the Window menu and selecting Library, or clicking the little handle way over on the right side of the screen to open the library panel, then click on Figures. There is a custom SL poser figure forthcoming, but until then, these Poser 2 figures are your best bet.

For a pose, you should do a 2 frame animation. You can adjust the animation length by typing 002 in the second box at the bottom in the section that says Frame 001 of 030 (if it is not visible, click the handle near the center bottom of the screen to open the playback panel). After you click out of the second box, it will ask you if you want to delete the additional frames. Say yes. Leave the first frame unposed, and then do your actual pose in the second frame. Upload your pose and make sure you check looping so that the pose loops :) Priority 4 should be used for sitting animations, everything else you can use priority 2 or 3.

Hope that helps :)

stop animation at end?

I, too, am just starting to play with poser. I've mostly stuck with poses, but I'm trying to do an animation, and have a quick question... what do you have to do if you want the animation to play, but remain in the last frame? Say, jump up in the air to do a kick, and then "stick" there?

Loop it, with both the In % and Out % at 100. This will play the animation once, then loop on the final frame.
