Hi I'm new in SL, and am curious if there's a simple option for getting the water in my little indoor pool to animate/ripple... nothing extravagant needed, just a little atmosphere. thanks for any help you can provide

Hi Moonshine,

Water effects are usually done by script/texture combinations... IM me inworld and I'll drop some water ripples on you.

[ BTW, this part of the forums is usually about avatar animations/poses - confusing I know lol ;) ]

regards,

/esc

SL can only import character animations for avatars. Animating anything else is done with script.

Basically, the script moves the water texture slightly. Search the forum and or Wiki, or IM me in game.

Or drop by Sagwa, NE, and copy the pong on top of the mountain.
