Is it possible to sync 10 pose balls? I know MLP can do up to 4 - but would it be possible to do more, or is there a limit?
Most grateful for any help here.

There's no practical limit, since synchronizing animations in SL is simply "telling them all to start at the same time". Often task-specific scripted objects like couple's dance balls resync periodically by briefly stopping and restarting the animations, since one can never predict the timing the very first time as individual clients initially download the animation assets and begin displaying them once they are done downloading.
So it's more of a scripting issue. Are you looking for a ready-made product that is designed to do this? Or a custom scripted solution, or help modifying existing scripts to work this way? _____________________

Thanks for the reply Anti - I'm looking for any solution really. I've only synchronised two pose balls myself.
Obviously, if a ready-made solution exists, that would be great - no point in re-inventing the wheel. At least it is theoretically possible - testing could be quite a game though! _____________________

Describe your requirement in a little more detail...
Ten pose balls, ten different animations? All the same animation? poople jumping on and off at random, or more or less at the same time? ...and, as others have said, it will be approximate sync, at best. _____________________

Ten pose balls for a dance team - doing a synchronised dance - possibly only 2 animations in total - 5 doing one and 5 the other - but I've not got that far yet as I don't want to start work before I'm sure it is technically a goer.
All dancers would have to get in position on their pose balls before the animation(s) started. _____________________

Deira, come to the Shelter in Isabel and have a look at the line dance there. FireEyes Fauna wrote the script, if I'm not mistaken. He might be willing to share it.

Deira, it might be worthwhile to contact Hevy Malibu of the Funky Feets. The group does a lot of synchronized dancing. I think some of the synching might be done by hand, as with a chim or other dance machine, but I think they have also built some group dance systems that synch automagically.
I am trying to remember now if the group is Funky Feets or Funky Feats. Darn. I've got Hevy's name right, anyway... _____________________

There are two scripts by Lee Ponzu (me
![]() One is an example of synchronizing multiple objects using llShout messages. The other is an example of syncing an object to the wall clock. if several objects act at the same time, then they will be pretty well synced. _____________________

Lee's scripts are right here in the forums in the Scripting Libary section though.
