I'm new to making animations. I have QAvimator, and I've gone through the on-line tutorial which walks you through making a simple "salute" animation. I've gone through everything four times now, quadruple checking my key frames, and followed everything in the tutorial, and I end up with the same result each time: Despite being a priority 4, my salute animation doesn't completely over-ride the default standing animations. In other words, if I trigger the salute animation when my avatar happens to have hands on hips, I get a clench-fisted salute (Yes, I checked "relaxed hands." . Or, if I happen to trigger the salute animation when my avatar has one hand on hip, weight shifted to one side, I get a leaning to one side salute. If I trigger the salute animation when my avatar happens to have both hands down to his sides, and is standing straight, the salute animation looks correct. It seems very unlikely to me that I would uncover such a significant bug on my first attempt at creating an animation, but I've repeated this four times with the same result. Help? Edit: Ok, let me put the question another way. Has anyone been able to make a standing animation, with any software, in the last few days, that completely over-rides default standing animations? Thanks. Editing my edit: Arggh. I just tried the animation that hasn't worked for two days, and now it suddenly works.
