Animation Permissions

I need confirmation of what I think is the correct way to set permissions for animations. My goal is this:

I want people to be able to use my animations either alone, in a gesture, or in an object they own. I don't want them to be able to make copies of them that can then be distributed alone or in objects. They are for unrestricted use for the individual without resale in any form.

The three permissions I can set are:
modify
copy
transfer/resell


What I've done originally is this:
no modify
no copy
yes transfer/resell

However, people say they cannot use them in gestures or objects. I believe what I want to set is this:
yes modify
yes copy
no transfer/resell


Three questions.

Will that achieve the goal stated above, such that I provide users with maximum flexibility while protecting my product?

Which permission allows the embedding of an animation in an object or gesture -- is it modify or copy?

I heard there was a bug in an earlier version that allowed the copying of gestures along with animations. Can anyone explain using the concepts above how that was possible and how it was fixed?
