Hey friends. So here's my problem. I've created a bunch of dancing animations and they all worked perfectly. I just created an animation where the character is lying down on her back though, and it's not working correctly. The animation plays perfectly except that the SL importer seems to have rotated the root bone 90 degrees forward so that the character is standing straight up. I checked the BVH itself in motionbuilder and it IS lying on it's back, correctly. Any idea how to circumvent this or where it's going wrong? Thanks for the help in advance!

Did you rotate your figure using the HIP joint? If you moved the whole body, then SL will not recognise it.

Well I solved it by rotating my pose ball around until it was in the correct position. An annoying way to have to deal with it but I suppose it works.

The pose ball script should have a Sit Target position. You should be able to edit that to change the avatar position.

Also, if you change or edit the T-pose at the very beginning, SL has no "relational" comparison for avatar orientation at upload. Make sure you aren't editing that first (0-1 frame, depending on the software) pose. ~Moonshy Littlething
