I made a new animation.. opened the new gesture file, named it, gave it the shortcut key.. and when I pull down the list of animations, my animation is not there. It's in my inventory.. I have been opening it and playing it locally or in world. Why is it not on the list?

This is my first time making one, so I am totally lost on what I am doing wrong.

Did you activate the gesture? Right-click in your inv and choose Activate, I believe.

making gestures

Hi
If you have the animation from another person it will need full permissions or will not show up on that list at all. Also make sure that the animation is renamed to something easy to find ' like begining with a number 1 or something. also make sure that the animation is in the correct directory.

I hope that helps.

Kind regards Carl

It isnt a gesture yet so I cannot activate it.. I need to turn the animation INTO a gesture.. and I made this animation myself. It works great when I click on it in my inventory and then choose either play locally or play in world. I just cannot get it to become a gesture.
