hi where are the bar controls for poser 6 like in poser 4? you know instead of moving the actual figure you can use bars that you move left or right to change the position of a limb

Though I'm not sure what about Poser 4's interface is, I always use "Parameter Dials" to move any parts in Poser 6. It is under "Window" menu.
