collar animations

I'm new, but think my collar is by Amethyst.

I've just been given it by my Mistress, but I've found it a little confusing... does anyone have a good detailed help guide generally...

I have been told I must not take it off.. and if I do She will get an email informing her.

She can use it (or I can) to put me into certain poses/animations (like permanentlycrawling instead of walking). But it seems to be controlled by

1- a pop up HUD (is that right?) display which offers different animations
2- text commands written into chat (like **release etc where ** is a password)

Questions :
-if I have it on all the time (as ordered) can my Mistress make me perform actions/animations etc wherever I am in SL?
- Can she addother actions to it later, or will it need a new updated collar?..adn are such extra actions easy to write in, or is it complicated program scripting?
- can She use it to control my ability to move around, speak to people, even chat at all?

This really isn't an animation thing so you might not get many responses here but maybe I can help?

It can be controlled two different ways, either from a menu or by chat commands (the most common way).

The wearer has fewer controls than the assigned "owner" (your Mistress or another secondary owner she adds to your collar).

In the basic version of the collar, your Mistress would have to be within chat radius (20m) to control your collar. (So if you crawl 20m away or TP, she can't release your crawl without getting closer...)

To add scripts or animations or plug-ins to the collar, you need to do it (probably by her command of course). I believe you can probably upgrade at Amethyst's store.

I make and sell an animation that works in Amethyst collars, to install it, the wearer simply adds it to the collar's contents.

There are plug-ins, which are fairly easy scripting. So I guess the answer to your question depends on what you want to add?

I've read in the manual to the leash holders there's a way to move wearer's around, but haven't seen it.

If you are using regular SL clients/viewers, she can not chat as you. There is a plugin that can make green object chat with your name in front of it as if it's coming from you (except that it's green, so from an object). It's similar to those freebie emoters you find in the newbie stores.

There is also a plugin that would let her hear your chat no matter where you are iirc if it's installed and she enables it.
