If you sell no copy animations, most likely you have had many customers contact you over the last few months who have lost their animations. It's one of those truly awful experiences to talk to a distraught customer who has just lost dozens of no copy animations that they have collected.

If you sell animations like Dances, AO Animations and Modelling Poses, you should strongly consider one of the following:
  1. Make your animations copy/no transfer. At the very least, offer that as an option.
  2. If you do sell your animations no copy, please make an effort to educate your customers. Tell them to transfer no copy animations one at a time when dropping them into a device.

Also, as an animator, please consider adding your name to the Project Open Letter. Also, take a look at this bug on jira. I think that it may encompass most of the bugs causing inventory loss. Please consider voting for it: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-114

I made a blog post which has more detailed advise on transferring animations safely: http://imakehuddles.com/blog/index.php?entry=entry070513-192946

Thanks.
