I was wondering: Why do we use the default Poser 4 guy for animation, when Poser poses the ability to add bones to an actual SL Manequin? Has anyone tried this?

Just got to wondering about it as I know the default Poser 4 model has bones lengths different from the SL Manequin, which is why some animations just dont look right without alot of tweaking.

You use the default Poser guy? I use the SL avatars downloaded from the website.

Not that that makes the bone lengths right. The bone lengths in the downloaded avatars are pretty off, especially the arms.

Incidentally, adding bones would not be a good idea since SL only recognizes specific bones already in place, but then I don't think you were really suggesting adding bones, you just titled the thread that for some reason.
