Steps to reproduce the bug: Right click on an animation and select properties
Observed results: The properties window does not come up. Instead the animation popup shows to play the animation.
Expected results: It should bring up the properties window. Now we are unable to set the permissions for animations!
Not sure if anyone else is noticing this or if it's just some people...or just me? What are the default properties on animations? Is it just transfer only? While uploading new animations, it bothers me to not know the properties on them LOL.

I filed a bug report on this as well.
Work-Around (worked for me anyways)
Create a prim and then place the animations inside. Right click them from there to see the properties and set the permissions.
Hope this helps,
Zach

Madame I'm not sure if this helps but to get around this I placed the poses I am creating in a box then editted the properties while they were in the box. Then I dragged them from the box back into my inventory. I passed a pose to my wife and the properties stuck. I know its tedious but it will work until they fix the bug hopefully.

That's how I did it, Cheets, for the ones last night.
Oh, goodness. Please tell me the ones I gave you last night were full perms...
Anyway... yeah. This is happening to me, too.

It looks like the problem should be so simple to fix. They accidentally assigned the slot in the drop list (within inventory) that should cause the properties window to pop up with one of their new play functions. It should take about 2 minutes to fix... I'm mystified that it wasn't repaired in Wednesday's update.

Yeah, this was pretty annoying when I noticed it, and I sent in a bug report. And yeah, I figured out the workaround mentioned here, to adjust the properties on an animation after putting it in an object.
btw, you can no longer select where to attach objects, another problem relevant to animations.
EDIT: Okay, I just downloaded the latest update, and both bugs have been fixed.
