Finger animations

I am trying to learn this whole animation thing and i think i decided to work on probably the hardest thing to do first lol. the animation i was looking at making requries the actual fingers of the ava to be animated how ever using the figure from the SL websight dousnt seem to have the actual hand structure to move the joints individualy. if any one has any sugjestions i would realy apreciate it

Face expressions and finger actions are not available to be made in advance. Just allowing to add them when you upload your animation. You should find menus on the upload window. But note they are always glitchy.

lol i was afraid of that. i wish i could be these animations i had an idea for are quite elabrate so i doubt the stock ones from the program would work. but thank you very much

I have meet a guy - or when he tp-ed himself to some place he first hold up that well known V sign..

These are lists which allow to make animations on the upload window. Peace Right means peace sign on your right hand. So he seemed to make his animations by using this.

Looks ok but I cant find them in my inventory.... so where can I by them out in that huge SL??

Hey, PetGirl, Try to make your own animation because you dare to post here discussion forum, not Product Wanted.
I've uploaded a still pose animation here. Avatar just place his right hand infront of his breast and show his palm.

1. Download the zip file below and extract it.
2. Log in SL and select file/upload Animation.
3. Choose that extracted bvh file.
4. Opening the upload window, you must check the blank box left side of "Loop".
5. And try to select something in "Hand Pose" you like.
6. Press Play button (triangle) and see what you've done.

NOTE: Try to change "Priority" number (from -1 to 4) and change "Preview while" state with playing. It shows what will do while you're in some state.
And you can try to change "Expression", too.

You can learn it much and may enjoy it. It costs L$10 when you press "Upload" though.

Hmm... I've just noticed looping still pose is not good for you when you use it for a gesture because you would have to make another stop gesture. Of course that is one of ways, but I've made 1 sec version, too.

In case of this animation, don't check the blank box left side of "Loop"

This animation works for 1 second. If you need more long time in your gesture, you can load this animation more than once in your gesture sequencer.

For example,

Start Animation :RightHandSign(1s)
Wait                 :0.9 (sec)
Start Animation :RightHandSign(1s)

And this is an application possibility.
Make it just Hand Pose / Peace Right and name it "Peace".
And Make it Hand Pose / Peace Right and Expression / Smile, and name it "Peace Smile".
If you loaded "Peace" at first and "Peace Smile" later in the sequencer, It would be better expression.

And gesture sequencer is just on a gesture file. Have you ever made your own gesture?
Just easy and you'll get used to this soon. And you lose nothing until you press Upload button. Do your best.
