I've been trying to design a pose in Daz, and the animation looks perfect in SL, but the Z-axis seems way to low... if i play the animation normally i go under the earth, and in a poseball it needs to be 10m above where i wish to play the animation... anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

There are 2 ways you can correct for this. The height of the animation in SL is set by the height of the hips in your animation.
First is to offset the hip height in Daz using translation – move up-down.(z offset). Double check that the hip height in the first frame T pose is set to zero. For the second frame, the actual pose make sure it is close enough to zero. If your going to use the pose in a poseball the offset isn’t that important, just make sure its not a huge offset.
2nd take a look at the script you are using in your pose ball. There should be a line in there that references an <X,Y,Z> offset. You can adjust these figures to set how your avatar sits relative to the pose ball in the x, y and z axis. The only catch with using those offsets in the poseball script is to make sure the <X,Y,Z> offsets are not set to zero or the script will not work.
