Ok, I know how to properly make a pose. this is no problem. What I'm wanting to make are couples poses. Now, I could do this the hard way, which is make each pose seperately and through trial and error try and get them to line up, but I was wondering if there was a way to have two different models loaded in poser in the same window, so I can pose them interacting, and after I'm done just export them seperately. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

From: Delerium Hannibal ...to have two different models loaded in poser in the same window... Hi Delerium... Just load 2 models, name 'em and then pose them. Then select either model and export the .bvh file. Select the other model and do the same. You will now have 2 different animations uploaded... one for each model. Hope this helps... Sami

In Poser 5, how does one load a second figure? I have one figure posed the way I would like -- now I want to pose a second figure in relation to the first. I cannot figure out how to get a second figure to occupy the screen along side the first. All my attempts just replace the first figure with second.

when you load a pose (from the side menu) there is a '+' button to load that in..
right next to it is a '++' which will load in a second figure.
Hope that helps!

Then select either model and export the .bvh file.

You can either just click on one of the models parts or there's a pull down menu at the bottom center that lets you pick which one.

To move one figure away from the other to edit them for the couple posing keeping them a distance apart..I tried to select Hip part of one figure and could move it away..if it was your question ps: It is a great inf to know about loadin the second figure for the couple pose making, this was what I was wondering how to myself too.

From: WindFairie Rosencrans ..I tried to select Hip part of one figure and could move it away... In my limited experience I've found it better to use the pull down menu Chris mentioned and select "body" rather than the hip for general movement of the figure This is especially helpful in cases where I need to rotate a figure. Use the hip and the body will rotate... but.. all to often I've found that later in the animation the figure may do a unexpected "corkscrew" type of spin after being uploaded to SL. Took me awhile to figure out why that was happening. By selecting "body"... I've found that my animations are more predictable in their play after uploading to SL.
