I've been workign on this for a couple of days now and can't seem to get it going, but it may just be that I'm not that experienced with Poser. I'm using poser 5 and wanted to do a pose where just the feet are pointed down but the rest of the AV is still mobile (like high heels almost). Tried it at first, checked the boards as to why the feet were in the ground, adjusted the Y-trans on the hips in the second frame and low and behold, the av was at the right height but couldn't move her legs(i.e. anything below the hips). I've tried locking the other joints when I move them, etc. and I'm still getting the same effect. any suggestions?

1. Set the whole frames to two frames. 2. Make sure that the figure is postured the default T-Pose on the first frame. 3. Remove Inverse Kinematics on both legs. 4. Open Animation Palette and click and select the cell of hip on the second frame. 5. Move the hip a bit up on the second frame by using Parameter Dials. 5. Rotate the feet so that it stands on tiptoe as well as the above-mentioned (that is, on the second frame). 6. Make sure that you just put just three dots(hip, l foot, r foot) as keyframes of the parts on the second frame. 7. Export this animation into bvh file 8. Upload the bvh file in SL. 9. At the uploading window, set Priority "4". Put the check mark on the left of "Loop". And chose Walking at "Preview while" and make sure that it walks right. 10. Press OK and pay L$10.
Hope that helps

That worked....I was getting caught on the inverse kinematics. Apparently with them turned on, it will key anything below the hips when they move up. Thanks again!
