I'm having some puzzling behavior in animations made with Avimator. I've made two in which I have everything about the body the way I want it, symmetrical, and so on... but it doesn't come out that way once it's imported.

That's #1 (a is a screencap of the Avimator screen, figure seen from above, and b is screencap when anim is being played in-world -- note the way the arm is skewed).

The second animation has the legs bent in a way they aren't in the Avimator file, and the arms in the wrong places.

That's #2 (a is a screencap of the Avimator screen, figure seen from the side, and b is screencap when anim is being played in-world.)

I've been tearing my hair out over this because I can't get it to come out positioned correctly after importing. Ideas?

Solomon,
You are leaving Frame 1 as the default T pose yes? and then changing the limb positions etc on Frame 2?
Another thing to remember is to try to alter the position of each body part at least a little from the postions in the first default frame, otherwise SL somethings seems to move the parts as per whatever the default animations would be..ends up looking very odd with some limbs in correct position and others doing totally unexpected things.
