Animation player sought

I have an AO that overrides certain positions like standing etc. However there a a lot of other animations that I would like to act out that don't necessarily fit into a regular AO. I of course can go to my inventory and "play" various animations. This is a pain. I'd like something that would let me quickly choose from a menu, preferably a HUD type thing. Can anyone recommend something like this?

Looks interesting, but expensive. Does anyone know of anything else? I particularly would like to be able to set it to cycle through various sitting poses. However, this is based on ZHAO wihich does not allow that. Does this provide a way to do that?

Just decided to buy it. Works great for quick manual changes. Still wish I could automatically cycle thru sitting poses.

It's at the Free Dove I know for sure. It cycles through standing positions so it should sitting also.

N Wet Ikon nly allows ne sitting position. It does not cycly thru sitting positions. I can't find any that cycle thru sitting, even HUDDLES.

Miffy Fluffy's MLP will do what you want and it's free.

um, MLP has nothing at all to do with animation overrides, it's an advanced system for poseballs. I think you're confused about that product.

Yes, I know MLP very well. I've used it many times. Maybe I misunderstood the OP, but I thought she wanted a HUD from which she could select other animations that wouldn't go in an AO. She says she wants to ba able to choose animations from a menu. MLP can be used as a hud, and will do just that (for example you can use it as a dance animation HUD) although you're right, it does involve the temporary appearance of a poseball when you start it up.

It depends on what exactly the OP needs. If all she needs is to automatically cycle through sitting poses then a better AO would be fine, if such a thing exists, but she does mention wanting a HUD and menu selection. As she has found, Huddles won't cycle through poses for her either.

I know on my ZHAO notecard I can add in more than one sitting pose. However, since I only have one and hardly use that since nowadays chairs all seem to have their own sit animations I've never fiddled with it to see if it actually cycles.

If you haven't already you might pick up a ZHAO AO (they are free) and see if it does what you want.

Most allow for more than one standing pose with:

If I get time I'll tinker with it. Or I'll check out the other one listed that seems to already allow for more than one sit position.

No, the ZHAO is the same. One sitting on ground, and one sitting.

Correction, it does have mutliple sits. They were listed further down in the list so I missed them.

The thing about a standard AO such as WetIkon or it's close relative ZHAO is that they just substitute your selected animations in place of the default ones. I know that sounds obvious, but it means, I'm guessing, that you get cycled stands because by default, SL cycles its stands. If you don't use an AO you still get cycled stands, just the default cycled stands.

Now, with ZHAO for example, you can put in a number of walks, sits, floor sits, but you have to choose which one you want to use, because SL won't cycle them for you. That's nice, but not what the OP wants.

If I'm right, then to cycle sits you would need a script to run the cycles, which would need to run alongside your AO, or be part of a "super-AO". I'm not a scripter but it doesn't sound too difficult to me. On the other hand, if it was easy I guess we'd all have them already. Maybe you should post in the scripters' forum?
