Crumpling avatar

OK, I'm stumped. I'm using DAZ to crumple my avatar into a ball, to fit inside an attachment. The crumpling works fine, but when I walk my avatar bobs up and down. I locked the hip node and set the animation priority at 4, so why this is happening? How is this done for tinies and other attachments?

There are several Jira entries that note failure of high priority to override default animations. I guess this bug impacts only new uploaded animations and not existing animations. Please log in to the Jira and vote to get these fixed!
