How do I stop an animation that I dropped???

I picked up an animation, which I thought was in a box, so I rezzed it to the ground (not my ground).

Now I have a errot message coming up in chat:

"Script trying to stop animations but PERMISSION_TRIGGER_ANIMATION permission not set"

I see the little script warning icon on the ground, but I can't select it to edit/delete.

Can anyone tell me how I get rid of it?

Thanks

I had something like this happen to me, only it was fireworks and I kept exploding every few minutes into big puffs of smoke.

I clicked on inventory, typed in worn and detached the oject from myself and then the script went away.

Not sure if you have the same problem or not, but worth a try. I expect someone much more techo will be along soon to help you out :)

It can't just be a raw animation; you can't drop an animation on the ground (although it's certainly possible to accidentally drop one into a floor or any other prim), and regardless that error message comes from a script, not from an animation.

I bet the animation came in a poseball, and for some reason the poseball came pre-hidden. Try saying things like "show", "/1show", etc. Or highlight transparent objects with CTRL ALT T and see if it's there.

WOW, thanks a lot Anti.

The CTRL ALT T was the trick. I really had to look for it though (it was tiny).

I'll have to remember that one. Thanks again.
