I'm new at trying out DAZ at all and I just got DAZ 2.1, followed instructions and created a pose. I exported as .bvh and checked the Second Life Compatibility box. When I tried to upload the animation would not initialize. Can someone help me get this right? I feel so lost at this.

Thanks :)

Howdy. I'm just learning how to do this myself. Did you download the SL avatar available at the SL website? That was my mistake, trying it with the usual models for Poser and DAZ rather then the SL avatar. With any luck, this is the link to the correct webpage. Hope it helps.

Now to figure out how to make it last longer then a couple of seconds and add to the animation.

I did add the SL Avatar but nothing happens. There are no joint dots or anything on it in Daz, it's just a grey body that does nothing.

Well, if it's just a case that loading the SL avatar didn't work correctly, I imported it into DAZ and saved it as just a base scene that you can use as a starting point. You can get it from here : http://www.daikonforge.com/downloads/sl_avatar_daz.daz

Hope that helps :)
