.bin is a binary file (just a load of info with no headers I think), the one you've got is probably a CD image. If so you'll need to burn it to disc or mount it with something like Daemon Tools.

To burn it to a disk:
  1. Start your burning software (i.e. Nero, I don't think Windows built in burning software will do it)
  2. Choose "Burn image to disk"
  3. Pick the file and follow the instructions

To mount it:
  1. Install Daemon Tools or whatever
  2. Choose "Mount Image" or something like that from the menu (I think it installs itself next to the clock so right click on the icon there.
  3. It will appear as a normal CD drive in Windows.

Hope that helps. :)

Glad to help.

Just FYI, the .cue file is kinda like an index card or something for the .bin file, it gives some extra info about what the CD's like whereas the .bin just holds the data that was on the CD. It's not 100% necessary but can make some things a little easier (as you found out). :)

Kinda, I'm not an expert on these things but I'd say it's more like a map of where the data sat on the original disc and settings from the system area of it.

Quite right about simple things making life easier though! :)
