I want to download the avatar model for offline viewing and I have been searching the web, secondlife site and forum. It seems that OGLE is the only viable option but it seems only to capture the geometry data. I am wondering if there are any program out there to do that before I dive into the source code for the slviewer. Thanks.

Hi, thanks a lot for the link.

However, I want to download my avatar and some of my friends. Not a generic one.

OGLE can capture geometry data and UV coordinates, the program which you plug OGLE into can capture texture data. So together you get complete package. You will probably need to manually set up surface attributes in your viewing program of choice, though.

glintercept with ogle captures the texture data too in a subdirectory (a different one for each capture)
