Is there any problem with SL Avatar?

I searched another problem's answer and found this thread. According to Ingot Hedges, SL Avatar seemed to cause his problem. I've never used other avatars but SL Avatar to make animations since starting, and never encounterd any fatal error. I'd like to clarify this because I recommended SL Avatar for everybody. Has anyone got any problem by using SL Avatar? Please tell us your experience.
