I have heard that this free to download program can be used to make animations for SL. This is something i would like to do in SL and cant afford the Poser price at the moment. If anyone is using this and give me any advice or tips on this software i would appreciate it.

I am also looking out for tutorial or information on producing animations as I'm still a Newbie to SL, Thanks for reading this and I hope you can help :)

BritPop, in my experience with the program, it is able to import animations from Poser fairly well... however, it does not seem to make the animation files that Second Life needs just yet, unless there's a plugin for it that I'm not aware of.

Poser Artist, something I highly recommend if you're just doing animations for Second Life, isn't all that expensive at the $100 price point. That should help bridge the gap between Daz Studio until more commercial and standard formats are supported. :)

DAZ is slammin' but unforetunately it only exports *.obj.

There is also a free trial of Life Forms 4.0 that you can use with SL to make animations. (The purchased software is expensive.)

As it was said Poser Artist is the cheaper alternative. But you can toy with Life Forms during the trial period and make some animations for SL.
