I know this topic is probably overdone in this section, but after searching through a lot of the threads, I haven't found anyone who's previously had a problem like mine.
I'm attaching the AO according to the directions in the notes, and my uploaded animations run fine when I test them as gestures. But none of my default actions are being overridden.
For the uploaded animations, is the character supposed to animated to be walking in place? Or do I still have it move forward within the animation? I'm thinking that might be my problem.
Or, if you could share any other small problems that mess up your AO, that would be great too.
Thanks in advance for all your help!

once you type ao on, the default animations you've replaced should be overrided. simple as that. however, these are the two most common problems people have with AOs in my experience: - Mistyped animation name in the notecard. (People often add a space at the end of the line - which is enough to make it invalid.)
- After configuring and wearing their AO, they didn't type ao reset. This must always be done after adding animations.
maybe you've already checked these things, but worth mentioning anyway. =)
