Heya all,
My friend has made some animations in Poser 6 to import into SL. However when I try to import them in it says Unable to read animation file *Cant get rotation order.
I found a tutorial on making anims for SL, and discovered you have to put a special standing pose frame in the 1st frame. He says he has done all this but it still says the same on import. What is he doing wrong?

Hi, i am really new at this, had the same trouble. What i found is that on the first frame insert the figure and rotate it and position it as u want. Start the animation on frame 2 and put that as the first key frame. When you export the bvh motion ani, make sure to click auto scaling. Worked for me.

From another thread posted by Seagel:
1. The default Poser 6 has a lot of bugs including bvh exporting one. You have to get the latest updated patch, SR2 or at least SR1 from Updates & Documentations. 2. I recommend you use SL Avatar. 3. The first frame must be the default T-Pose which means all values are 0 (except scales). The first frame is just used as reference between bvh and SL world and the pose doesn't appear in SL. Feel free to unfurl your arm. 4. It seems sometimes to happen that the dialog box asking "Scale Automatically" doesn't appear when you export the bvh. In that case, once save it as the Poser animation file (.pz3) and load it again. And then try it. It is important that you select "Scale Automatically".
Hope that helps.
